How the Free Assessment Works

A Clear Starting Point for Your Child’s Learning Journey. At BrainyChamps, every child begins with a Free Assessment & Orientation Class to ensure the right fit.

What Is the Free Assessment & Orientation Class?

The Free Assessment & Orientation Class is a structured session designed to:

• Understand your child’s current level of readiness
• Identify the most appropriate program and level
• Explain how learning at BrainyChamps is structured

The session is conducted online by a trained instructor in a calm, child-friendly environment.

What Happens During the Assessment?

The assessment typically lasts 30–45 minutes and includes three parts:

1. Skill Evaluation

The instructor engages your child with age-appropriate questions or activities to understand their current knowledge and thinking approach. This is not a test and does not involve scoring or pass/fail outcomes.

2. Observation & Interaction

The instructor observes how your child approaches problems, follows instructions, and responds to guidance. This helps assess readiness and comfort with the learning format.

3. Parent Orientation

Parents are guided through:

• How programs are structured
• How levels work
• What progression looks like

This is an opportunity to ask questions and understand expectations clearly.

What the Assessment Does — and Does Not — Do

The assessment helps us:

• Recommend the right starting level
• Suggest a suitable batch
• Identify learning strengths and areas to build on

The assessment does not:

• Pressure you to enroll
• Compare your child to others
• Lock you into a decision

What Happens After the Assessment?

After the assessment is completed, we share clear recommendations with parents.

Program & Level Recommendation

Based on the assessment, we recommend:

• The most suitable program
• The appropriate starting level
• Available batch options (if applicable)

Placement is based on readiness, not age or prior exposure.

Understanding the Recommendation

The recommendation explains:

• Why a particular level is suggested
• What your child will work on at that level
• How progress is measured

Parents are encouraged to review this information carefully and ask questions.

Next Steps Are Always Optional

Enrollment is never required after the assessment.

Parents may choose to:

• Enroll at the recommended level
• Take time to consider the recommendation
• Ask for further clarification

We believe thoughtful decisions lead to better outcomes.

If You Choose to Enroll

If you decide to proceed:

• Your child is enrolled at the recommended level
• Learning begins in a structured, instructor-guided format
• Progress is tracked through practice, assignments, and assessments

If you choose not to enroll immediately, the assessment remains a helpful reference point for the future.

What to Keep in Mind

• Starting at the right level builds confidence
• Progress is based on understanding, not speed
• Clear structure supports long-term learning
• Parents are kept informed at every stage
"The Free Assessment is designed to guide, not rush. Our goal is to help families start at the right place, with clarity and confidence — whether that leads to immediate enrollment or not."

These guides are designed to support parents with clarity and confidence. There is no obligation to enroll.
